We saw some snow in Whistler over the weekend.

Here, the snow in Whistler isn’t exactly flying right now …. but this weekend the mountains received a little taste of what’s to come. Raining in the valley, but snow up top. It’s only September but already the local talk is about another Winter coming soon!
But, maybe we shouldn’t get ahead of ourselves. For example, our three championship golf courses remain open and we are all still chasing that elusive perfect round. I keep trying to figure out the game, but my efforts continue to be in vain…. thankfully the magnificent mountain scenery and an occasional sighting of a black bear and her three cubs, always make for a fun day. Drinks on the patio with good friends after the round also helps!
So summer officially takes its final bow tomorrow, as a new fall season takes over. Once again, we feel very fortunate to have enjoyed a busy season of good weather and new adventures. Whistler Blackcomb is open again and we welcomed back visitors from around the world! Local businesses were so happy to see everyone returning. We are confident this will continue into the fall as the leaves begin to shed. And before we know it the valley and all the surrounding mountains, from top to bottom, will once again be covered in a thick blanket of snow.
On the business side of things, the Whistler property market continues to surprise, with prices continuing to climb and inventory remaining low.
