I’d like to help your family and friends
I’ve been working on behalf of buyers and sellers of Whistler real estate for 23 years. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed assisting people from all over the world. I have had a lot of fun along the way and I’ve formed some long lasting friendships. I reckon I’ve been pretty successful, if measured by the thanks I’ve received and the occasional unsolicited referral that has been passed on to me by satisfied clients.
But I’ve always been pretty shy when it comes to actually “asking for a referral”. I guess I’ve always naively figured that anyone I’ve been in contact with, through mediums such as this newsletter, will automatically pass on my name if they get talking about Whistler real estate. However, according to a well researched article I read this week, friends, close contacts and even past clients, will often only “refer” someone if they are literally asked to do so.
So this is me being very bold.
I work within a very competitive environment here in Whistler. We have a relatively small real estate market that is serviced by many very competent Realtors…. and I love them all!But the time has come for me to formally prompt all my newsletter recipients to please insert my name into any Whistler real estate conversation you might have. Or I’d equally appreciate a suggestion to your interested friends that they visit my Whistler website, showcasing available properties, FAQ’s, videos and a wealth of other information: WhistlerRealEstate.com.
Additionally, I will be even bolder and unequivocally state that I’d be very happy to offer anyone a generous financial incentive for putting my name forward to a potential buyer or seller. As I always tell my daughters, “Hey, if you don’t ask, you’ll never know.” Just reach out and I can tell you all about my referral programme, or which Whistler patio would be best for sharing a few beverages, my treat, if you think that would be more appropriate.
As for the Whistler property market this past couple of weeks, we remain extremely busy with inventory low and an abundance of buyers.
